Healing Elements Massage Therapy incorporates an array of massage modalities to suit your needs. Many feel that massage sessions are primarily used for special occasions that occur sporadically throughout the year. However, few understand the positive effects that massage can have on the body and mind when incorporated into their daily lifestyle.
My mission is to facilitate healing with hands-on therapies that provide relaxation, pain relief and muscular changes, allowing clients to embrace a balanced life. To welcome balance into your life means that your elements are in working order: your earth (body), your air (mind), your fire (energy), and your water (emotion). I have created an environment, holistic in nature, encompassing intelligence with compassion and warmth with practicality. I strive to be present in each moment, grounded and centered. My intent is to facilitate and enhance wellness in each person that I professionally care for. Personally, I want to focus on the bigger picture; that it's the simple things in life that often bring, and also give, the most joy.
What is Massage?
Massage Therapy is the systematic manual application of pressure & movement to the soft tissue of the body-the skin, tendons, ligaments, fascia (the membrane surrounding muscles & muscle groups). It encourages healing by promoting the flow of blood & lymph, relieving tension, stimulating nerves, & stretching & loosening muscles and connective tissue to keep them elastic which improves the body's range of motion. It reduces the heart rate, lowers blood pressure, enhances medical treatment and aides in recovery, relieves pinched nerves & increases endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers.
